The Frozen eye, that is a wrap!

The end of March was dedicated to the shooting of THE FROZEN EYE (L’Oeil Silencieux), Karim Ouelhaj’s fantastic new short film, in which he reveals with lucidity and without modesty his vision of modern voyeurism through the main character, Bernard.
Born from the observation of our behaviors, this project depicts a vice that the 21st century facilitates: the unhealthy curiosity, which culminates since the apogee of reality TV shows and social networks. At the end of the day, aren’t we all a little “Bernard”?

La fin de ce mois de mars a été consacrée au tournage de L’ŒIL SILENCIEUX, le nouveau court-métrage fantastique de Karim Ouelhaj, dans lequel il nous dévoilera avec lucidité et sans pudeur sa vision du voyeurisme moderne à travers le personnage principal, Bernard.
Issu de l’observation de nos comportements, ce projet dépeint un vice que le 21e siècle facilite : la curiosité malsaine, qui culmine depuis l’apogée des émissions de télé-réalité et des réseaux sociaux. Au fond, ne sommes-nous pas tous un peu “Bernard”?
